Recognition from the Texas Senate

Friday, 26 March 2021, Senator Dawn Buckingham visited the Harper VFD to recognize the potentialy lifesaving service to our community during the recent winter storm in February, of which Harper was probably the hardest hit area throughout the state.

Our Harper Heroes

This is an effort to recognize those who stepped forward by helping others in need, despite many having their own additional burdens, in the aftermath of winter storm Uri that devestated the Harper area in February 2021.  If you know an individual, business, or organization that deserves recognition for helping the community as a whole, please notify Mark at with the name and short description of the service provided. We sincerely regret missing anyone who should be recognized here, and know there are many!
